Scrmbld is a Rubik's Cube companion app for timing solves, tracking progress, and connecting smart cubes. The app is provided free of charge with optional advertisements.
You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
Scrmbld does not currently require an account. All solve data is stored locally on your device. If we introduce accounts in the future, additional terms may apply.
The app displays advertisements via Google AdMob. Ad content is provided by third parties and we are not responsible for the content of ads shown. You may encounter rewarded ads that offer in-app benefits (such as XP bonuses) in exchange for watching.
The app connects to Bluetooth-enabled smart cubes. We are not responsible for any damage to your smart cube or device resulting from Bluetooth connectivity. Not all smart cube models are supported.
Scrmbld, its design, code, and content are owned by Techlabs Studio. "Rubik's Cube" is a trademark of Rubik's Brand Ltd. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rubik's Brand Ltd, GAN, Xiaomi, or any cube manufacturer.
Scrmbld uses random-state scramble generation based on the Kociemba algorithm. Scrambles are not WCA-certified and should not be used for official WCA competitions. The term "WCA-strict" refers to our inspection penalty rules matching WCA timing regulations, not official WCA endorsement.
Solve data, preferences, and progression are stored locally on your device. We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, app uninstallation, or operating system updates. We recommend backing up important data.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices or smart cubes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Techlabs Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, solve records, or progression.
We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
